Medications purchased through the clinic

When ordering recurrent medications, we ask that you give us at least 72 hours notice (ideally a week) in case we need to order in the medication from our supplier or book you in for a recheck.

To comply with WA Poison's Laws, we require a twice yearly examination of your animals to permit supply of ongoing medications.

Some medications (controlled substances, antibiotics, eye medications and ear medications) require a clinical exam every time they are prescribed.

In a herd setting, this can apply to the group so long as we have examined for the same problem within a 6 month timeframe.

Presciptions and online purchasing of medications and foods.

You are welcome to request a written prescription to fill at a human or online pet pharmacy. A prescription fee applies and you will need to take/ post the original document to the chemist. In many cases we can supply sufficient repeats on the prescription to carry you to your pet's next 6 monthly check.

If your pet's medication is produced by a compounding pharmacy then you will require a written prescription.

We have started working with an online pharmacy and pet product supplier called Your PetPA. They supply for cats, dogs and horses at the same/ similar prices as other online pharmacies.
