Local girl Dr Chris completed her undergraduate veterinary training at Murdoch University in 2005. From there she worked as a farm vet in Pinjarra until injury sent her back to small animals. Dr Chris also holds a Masters in Veterinary Science. Her main passion is surgery, but she enjoys all aspects of working in this wonderful field. Dr Chris is a current Fear Free Certified Veterinary Professional.

Dr Jessica Jackson (Jess)

Dr Sherrilynn Wakefield

Veterinarian

Dr Sherrilyn is considered by many to be our most outgoing staff member! She spent her early career down south working with cows, horses, sheep and other livestock along with the pets of the locals. Cattle visits are booked with Dr Sherrilyn on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Dr Duncan Hargest

Senior Veterinarian

Dr Duncan founded our hospital at its current address and has served the local community for many years. His sage advice and calm visage can still be found here at Mundaring Vet Hospital (mostly on Wednesday mornings), though he now spends more time with his own pets and the garden. Sensible man.

Dr Beth Gallagher

Veterinarian

Beth is the newest addition to the Mundaring Vet Team and is a Jack of All Trades! She brings a wealth of experience in farm animal practice after spending much of her formative years milking cows. Dr Beth has a soft spot for pretty much every animal and is happy to help where she can from horses to rabbits and everything in-between. You'll spot her in the clinic wearing colourful scrubs.
